ROLE: Senior PR Account Executive
DETAILS: Full-time, competitive salary
LOCATION: Home-based ideally within an hour of central London
This is an opportunity to join a highly-respected and forward-thinking PR agency with a growing list of varied and progressive clients that specialise in the re/insurance, insurtech and ESG / financial resilience sectors.
TIMING: Beginning of April 2023 is the ideal start date.
About the Role:
This is a client-facing role with professional standard writing responsibilities. We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and experienced individual to support us in managing the day-to-day requirements of our clients, including:
Participating in, and eventually leading client meetings, with the support of the Lysander PR team
Content drafting including press releases, thought leadership articles, white papers, social media, website collateral and more
Strategic PR campaign planning and proactive execution
Issues and crisis management
Liaising with journalists and media representatives
Flexible, majority home-based working with some travel requirements mainly to London
Desired Experience:
This role would be well suited to anyone with current financial services PR experience - either in-house or agency - and a good understanding of the re/insurance sector, with contacts in the London market, who is looking for the next step in their career. This is also a great opportunity for a journalist or writer to transfer their skills and experience and take the leap into the PR world.
The job requires a self-starter with an excellent work ethic and self-discipline who is confident dealing with clients and other key stakeholders at all levels.
Salary and other benefits:
Salary dependent on experience
30 days holiday a year plus six wellness days
Equipment provided to support home-based working
